Applicant must have a satisfactory interview with the School Director.

 

Applicants must review the School Catalog and its information, sign the pre-enroll acknowledgement form before fill out an enrollment and contract, and also provide necessary documents, if the document is issued outside the Unite State, it needs to be translated into English and evaluated before training can begin.

 

The Orientation must be conducted and all applicable fees must be paid, or by the Payment Agreement and are free from contagious or infectious disease before the class start.

 

                      ADMISSION  REQUIREMENTS

 

 GENERAL COSMETOLOGY

       A person seeking admissions as a Cosmetologist student must be at least 16 years old and has a 10th Grade education, or is above the age of compulsory school attendance in the State of Pennsylvania and able to pass the Ability to Benefit as outlined in the Ability of Benefit Policy.

 COSMETOLOGY COURSE

       A person seeking admission as a Cosmetologist student must be at least 16 years old and have completed the 10th grade or over 35 years old.

 COSMETICIAN COURSE

       A person seeking admission as a Cosmetician student must be at least 16 years old and have completed the 10th grade or over 35 years old..

 MANICURIST COURSE

       A person seeking admission as a Manicurist student must be at least 16 years old and have completed the 10th grade or over 35 years old.

 TEACHER COURSE

       A person seeking admission to the Teacher Course must have a High School Diploma or a GED and Operator’s License and is at least 18 years old.

 EXEMPTION:

 A person thirty-five (35) years of age or over, or a Veteran desiring to take an examination to receive a license as a Cosmetologist, shall not be required to have completed a 10th grade education, or the equivalent thereof.

 

RE-ADMISSION POLICY

 Student may apply to re-admit to the institution after being dismissed after waiting a period of at least five business days. Such students will be enrolled on a probationary status. This procedure applies only to dismissals caused by a lack of satisfactory progress.

 Re-entering students will be charged at the current tuition rate for newly entering students with an additional $100.00 reinstatement fee.

 

WITHDRAWAL / COURSE INCOMPLETES/TERMINATION

 

Any student who withdraws from his/her contracted course or fails to complete his/her training, violating rules and regulation, not meet satisfactory progress requirement repetitive may lead to a termination, and will have a notice placed in his/her student file regarding his/her progress at point of withdrawal

 

REPETITION

 

A student making satisfactory progress at the point of withdrawal may apply for re-enrollment in the school and will be considered to be making satisfactory progress at point of re-entry.

 A student failing to meet minimum satisfactory requirement at the point of withdrawal will be placed on probation for one month when accepted for re-enrollment.

 Any student violating school rules and regulations or default in financial obligations to the school will be liable for dismissal.

 Kimberly’s Beauty School Inc. reserves the right to change or add to existing school rules and regulations whenever it is deemed necessary. Such changes will be posted on the school bulletin board and be effective immediately after posting.
